same fabulous life, new fabulous name

As obvious by the url, Billz and I have decided to start a blog to document our life together (or at least the first year) and share it with family and friends. I hope to keep it relatively simple, but I also hope to be beautifully honest about the smooth sailing, rough waters, capsizes, and amazing journey.

So cliche to say, but where the hell did 2008 go? Recap...

January:

NYE in Tampa… Billy discovers his love of fireworks, Panthers kick the Bucs butt, Busch Gardens + facepaint reminded us how immature we still are…

Hit up NYC

February:

Ate overpriced meals at famed mafia restaurants in Philly

Went to professional Lacrosse games

Stayed in Atlantic City with Tiff and discovered a mutual hate of casinos

Went skiing – da Billz caused some massive crashes… decided lessons will take place in 2009

March/April:

13 hour days, 6 days a week working...

May:

Went to New Orleans

Moved back to Charlotte

Memorial Day in the Oak, met my mom’s new/old BF, called him the wrong name on purpose, decided to charge my fiancé with the task of getting said BF wasted, succeeded, felt guilty, 6 months and a presidential vote later decided I REALLY like the guy, discovered they almost got married before my Dad came into the picture, decided I'm down with having him around

Felt lost, aimless in my career

June:

Went camping with the fam, took Josh and his BB gun

July:

Spent an entire week at Carowinds

Hit up Brooke’s wedding, Kentucky, and cliff jumping

Took a new position within a rotation program with my company in Lynchburg VA to begin in September

August:

Not sure what really happened this month other than a BIG BDAY for my Big MAN – gave him golf clubs and we celebrated a year together where he gave me a thoughtful and beautiful picture collage … packed and moved to Lynchburg

September:

Love being with B in our own little city, hate Lynchburg, hate Jerry Falwell more, think my new job will be good for me, enjoy discovering the city, love B more and more everyday

October:

Hit up Charlotte for the most fabulous bachelorette party EVER

Took the Bro to see David Sedaris

Received the most AWESOME bikes from my mom as an early wedding gift and spent the rest of October hitting the trails

Halloween we headed to Virginia Beach to visit one of B’s oldest friends, Griff. Not sure what the hell he put in the keg, but B and I paid for it for two days

November:

Took on Baltimore and DC

Thanksgiving came and went with a truly enjoyable time spent with B’s extended family

My wedding shower my sister threw for me was neon pink and green DELICIOUS!

December:

A lil Jingle Jog, cancelled the cable, company Xmas party, JAMAICA, very eventful Christmas, TOTALLY FOR SURE greatest wedding party ever at the Breakfast Club...
