We finally found him! After searching for a couple of months for the new addition to our family, we found him last night. He was born on March 16th, a beautiful accident from a full bred 150 lb Cane Corso (Italian Mastiff) and an English Pointer mix. He was the biggest of the litter, of course, and he wasted no time devouring treats and puppy chow when he got home.
We got to meet his mom and dad when we went to see if he was a fit, and they were both very well tempered.
I always wanted to name a dog Moose, but when we took him home, Moose just didn't fit. Billy and I thought perhaps Goose would fit since we love to indulge in Grey Goose, Goose was Top Gun's wingman, and there was true grey goose intimidating the puppies when we met him. The other option was Maximus Decimus Meridius, and of course we would call him Max... however Goose just seemed to fit perfect.
Anyway, behold Grey Goose Arrington, aka GOOSE!!!
The cutest is to watch Billy with "his boy".
