Nascar, Fast Car

B and I made it through the weekend with little sleep and no hydration, but at least we made it! March Madness has been a blast for B and me this year. Last year we were in the middle of 14hr days, six days a week during March, so we were unable to fully enjoy the splendor of the NCAA tournament; however this year we have been fully engaged. We tend to make up some sort of game to play while watching, so Friday night was “Good Play – Good Shot”. For every good play, we had to take a shot of Three Olives, Berry, washed down with Sparks. We had a blast and woke up to the credit card lying out beside the computer… UHHH OHHH!?!?!

In our March Madness glory, we had invited Griff (B’s best friend from VA Beach) to attend the Martinsville Race with us and bought the tickets that night.

Griff came up Saturday afternoon and brought his precious puppy Keanu (“the coolness” in Hawaiian – Griff is an engineer in the Navy and was stationed in Hawaii for three years).

The cool Keanu...
B and I went ice skating that night, where B was truly a champ if he could avoid showing too much crack (to which the little kids responded with “Ewwwww!”).

B doing his thing...

I put together a little spread and we watched the rest of the Elite Eight games that night while downing Margaritas.

My spread for the games...

The El Toro that took us down...
Sunday we woke to a nice hangover and enough adrenaline for race to get up and get moving. I decided “my driver” would be the one with the cheapest, tackiest t-shirt, so I am now a Jeff Gordon fan. Actually I hate NASCAR, but I had a great time.
