Piano Man -n- Tiny Dancer

I am slacking on the blogging big time, I know. No updates on HAAAQUET or quotes or bitching... geez.

I do have SNOW!!! We got 9 inches in Lynchburg and during the blizzard [yeah, I said blizzard, don't hate because you live in a foot of snow all through the winter] between 7pm and 12am, B and I were driving back to Lynchburg. It was a weeeee bit scary.

Unlike Charlotte, after 9 inches, AREVA wasn't closed!!!

We spent this weekend in Charlotte for the Elton / Billy concert, and it was awesome! Every time I attend a concert indoors, I always swear to myself that I will pay the extra money to sit closer, and yet I never do. I WILL NOT SIT IN THE NOSEBLEED AGAIN... if the concert is indoors it is worth every penny to be up close. I must remember this.

Boozin in the car before dinner/concert...

We ate at this little restaurant - I had a fabulous seared tuna salad...

The infamous Sprite bottle made its way into the concert...

Below is this bomb ass couple that sang and danced their hearts out [maybe drank their little hearts out too], but they were my favorites.

Anyway, I have to admit that Billy outdid Elton, but I will always be a hard core fan of both. They are just nasty on that piano.

If you have time to read my little blog, please take an extra moment to read the article Butch sent me.

This is an article by Thomas Friedman, author of Hot Flat and Crowded (among
many others). This isn’t from the book but it does bring together the theme
quite well. I think he’s right.
